A Reflective Service based on Mark 15:25-41. This day can only be called good because we know Sunday is coming. For the disciples and those at the foot of the cross, there was nothing good in what they experienced that day. Today pause and reflect on the crucifixion of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

this is the day when the disciples lost all hope. It is hard for us to put ourselves in their feet, to experience what they did, because we know the outcome in 3 days. We could make some comparison with our experience with this virus; though there are signs of hope now, we still don’t know the outcome, what the world will look like in 3 days, 3 weeks, 3 months, 3 years. Will we just return to daily life as it was before? Or are we forever changed? A both melancholy and fearful thought and one that’s filled with possibility at the same time. As we pray for our world, lets be open to the huge potential for God to move.
