Situated in the town of Kaiapoi, just north of the Waimakiriri River. Kaiapoi Baptist are a diverse bunch covering many ages, stages, ethnicities, and cultures. All are welcome at our gatherings and our midweek programs.

The church was founded over 120 years ago and still sits on the original site in Fuller Street. We are committed to our local community and partner with the Person to Person Help Trust to make a difference in the lives of the people that call Kaiapoi, and North Canterbury home.

Here at Kaiapoi Baptist we strongly believe that everyone is called into a life of discipleship and ministry. We could easily put a photo of everyone in the church on our team page – the church as the priesthood of believers! It’s not just a theological concept at Kaiapoi, it is a living reality. Teamwork is a vital reality and is reflected in our leadership team. Annette and Simon Williams have been called (January 2017) as Co-Pastors to Kaiapoi Baptist Church, working together as a team. How this works is still an “ever evolving dance”. One thing we know for sure is that God is calling us into something new, not just in the way we structure our team, but also in the life of the church.
